Head over to Pretzel Park tonight for an outdoor concert from 7 to 8:30 p.m.  Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy a night of free music with the Merion Concert Band. 

The Merion Concert Band has been giving free concerts in Philadelphiaand on the Main Line for over 30 years.  It is a seventy-membercommunity concert band based in Lower Merion.  Band members arevolunteers and comprise a diversity of professions including music,medicine, law, government, publishing and education.  Mr. Nathan Snyderreceived his appointment as conductor of the Merion Concert Band inFebruary 2010. He earned his Bachelor of Music degree from SusquehannaUniversity where he studied clarinet and conducting under ValerieMartin, including an independent study in which he focused on chambermusic.  He has completed further training in conducting at NorthwesternUniversity and the University of North Texas with Mallory Thompson,Eugene Corporon and Craig Kirchoff.  You can find more informationhere: 14 – Pretzel Park in Manayunk(2:30) Star Spangled Banner arr.
