Investigators with the Northwest Detective Division are seeking a man who robbed an East Germantown GameStop location at gunpoint on Sunday morning.

According to police, the man entered the store, located at 5301 Chew Ave., at 11:20 a.m. and inquired about an iPad.

“After confirming that the iPad was in stock, the suspect stated he would return with the money to purchase the iPad,” according to a police account of the incident. “When the suspect returned … [he] pulled a handgun demanding the iPad. After taking the iPad, the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.”

The suspect is described as a thin 5-foot 10-inch tall black man in his late teens or early twenties with a thin mustache and goatee. He was wearing a red baseball cap with a logo on the front, a royal blue Nike t-shirt, blue denim shorts and white socks pulled up to his knees with a dark colored stripe down the back, according to police.
