Man dies while shoveling snow in central Pennsylvania

Authorities say a man died while shoveling snow in central Pennsylvania.

Dauphin County coroner Graham Hetrick tells WHTM-TV that the Halifax man suffered a “cardiac event” Sunday while shoveling. He died before emergency responders could get to him.

The man has not yet been identified.

Hetrick says an autopsy will not be necessary. He says he’s been snowed in and will have more information on Monday.
