Man arrested following Nov. gas station shooting in Germantown

Police have arrested Hassan Shaheed Porter in connection to a Nov. 4 shooting at the Sunoco gas station on Germantown Avenue in Germantown. 

At 3:32 p.m. the victim was involved in a verbal altercation with Porter. At that time, Porter pulled out a handgun and shot the victim multiple times. Both the victim and Porter fled the area.

On Tuesday, Tinicum Township Police observed Porter entering a Kia Optima outside a Red Roof Inn and took him into custody.  

Porter is being charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and related offenses.
