Lower Merion defeats Mt. Airy in Roxborough junior baseball tournament

In the first round of (11 year-olds division) play of the 21 Ward Junior Baseball Tournament Lower Merion’s beat Mt. Airy on Sunday. The Mt. Airy Stars (11 year-olds) remained competitive against Lower Merion 101 but lost 11-6.

Mt. Airy faces Plymouth tonight at 6 p.m. at the Al Perlman Field at Harner Street & Port Royal Avenue in Roxborough. In 11 year-old match ups Mt. Airy take on Chestnut Hill Thursday night at 8 p.m.

In Sunday’s game Mt. Airy Stars remained competitive against Lower Merion 101.
