Lottery sales to debut at Pennsylvania liquor stores

Pennsylvania liquor stores are set to introduce lottery sales.

WHTM-TV reports the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board plans to talk about lottery sales and several other changes coming to wine and spirits stores at the grand opening of a new premium store in Manchester Township on Wednesday.

Lottery sales are now allowed at liquor stores under a new law that went into effect earlier this week. The legislation allows for the sale of self-service games like instant ticket machines.

The new law extends stores’ operation hours. Stores are no longer required to be closed on holidays and lifts restrictions on Sunday operations.
