Local Latino students win college scholarship money

    Fifteen Latino students from local high schools have been awarded $20,000 in scholarships from the Hispanic American Commitment to Education Resources program.

    HACER, a branch of Philadelphia’s Ronald McDonald House Charities, awarded college scholarships to students based on academic achievements, community service and financial need.
