Chrysler Corporation has plans to reinstate some of the dealers it dropped during the nation’s economic crisis.

What was once Gegnas Chrysler Jeep in Northeast Philadelphia is now selling used cars and offering service to all makes and models of vehicles.  Owner Don Bragg says it’s been tough since June of last year, when he lost the Chrysler franchise that had been a Kensington institution for 45 years.

Bragg: We were running with about 50 employees, I’m down to 20 employees because of this, they were all laid off I didn’t fire any of them.  They are all collecting unemployment the ones that didn’t find jobs, there are not many jobs in this field out there right now with all these closed dealers.
