LIVESTREAM: Wilmington Fire Dept. memorial for Ardythe Hope

Ardythe Hope died two months after she was injured while fighting an intentionally set fire. Hundreds are expected to attend today’s memorial service in Wilmington.

“Ardy” as she was known to her fellow firefighters will be remembered in a line of duty death memorial service at the Wilmington Riverfront’s Chase Center. Firefighters from Delaware and around the region will pay their respects along with members of the community, her family and friends.

Hope is the third firefighter to die from injuries suffered in the September 24 fire. Lt. Christopher Leach and Senior Firefighter Jerry Fickes were also killed in the blaze.
