NewsWorks Mt. Airy launch party is 10 a.m.
Please stop by for NewsWorks’ official launch event for our Chestnut Hill/Mt. Airy news site on Wednesday, Dec 8 at 10 a.m. at High Point Cafe/Allens Lane Station in Mt. Airy.
While the site launched on November 15, we wanted to wait a few weeks so you could get a chance to see what we’re all about. If you can’t make it then join us by watching our live video broadcast by revisiting this page on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
What: NewsWorks plugs-in to Mt. Airy event.

Where: High Point Cafe / Allens Lane Station at 7210 Cresheim road, Philadelphia, Pa. 19119. 215-248-1900. This is on SEPTA’s Chestnut Hill West line.
Who: Anyone who wants to learn more about NewsWorks’ local news websites or even learn how to become a contributing writer or photographer. It’s a free event and we’ll even buy your coffee.
Our Chestnut/Mt. Airy page has been built for you. My goal is for all of you take ownership of it in three ways. 1) Offering to cover stories or writing an opinion essay. 2) If you can’t dedicate that much time then send us your story ideas. 3) Commenting on stories to get your voice heard.
