One lane of southbound Lincoln Drive to be closed Tuesday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The right lane of Lincoln Drive, between Wissahickon Avenue and Ridge Avenue, will be closed temporarily on Tuesday, Nov. 8, Streets Commissioner Clarena I. W. Tolson announced today. The following temporary lane closure is scheduled to be in effect from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• Southbound Lincoln Drive traffic will have to merge to the left below Wissahickon Avenue. The lane closure will end immediately past the work zone.

• Northbound traffic will not be affected.

The temporary closure will allow City employees to safely work along this winding stretch of road. This work has been scheduled for the daytime in order to expedite repairs and minimize disruption. Police Department assistance will be on site to help maintain a safe traffic flow in the area.
