Lincoln Drive car crash leaves one person in critical condition and two injured

A 49-year-old woman is in critical condition today after a head-on collision on Lincoln Drive last night.

Police say the crash happened at 11:49 p.m. on the 4800 block of Lincoln Drive, between Gypsy Lane and Wissahickon Avenue in East Falls.

According to police reports, a Chrysler Voyager traveling eastbound on Lincoln Drive crossed the median and struck a Toyota Tundra driving westbound.

Police say the driver of the Voyager, 47-year-old Anthony Consalvo of West Carpenter Lane, was taken to Temple University Hospital where he underwent surgery and is now listed in stable condition. Consalvo is charged with DUI.

The female passenger of the Voyager is still in critical condition. 

Police say the 64-year-old male driver of the Tundra was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

Lincoln Drive was closed for a few hours after the accident.
