Leader of S.E. Pa. Big Brothers Big Sisters leaving for job with national organization

    The leader of the regional Big Brothers organization is leaving her job for an executive position with national group.

    Marlene L. Olshan, chief executive officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern Pennsylvania (BBBS SEPA), will be leaving her post to join Big Brothers Big Sisters of America as Chief Operating Officer, effective Nov. 1. She has been in with the regional organization since 2001.

    Under Olshan’s leadership, the BBBS SEPA has doubled in size and tripled the number of children served serve annually,² said Mitchell Benson, chair of the BBBS SEPA Board of Directors.
