Lawyer: Bucks County man will repay misbegotten bank money

A Bucks Count man who allegedly spent more than $67,000 deposited into his bank account in error will apply for admission to a program for first-time offenders.

The attorney for Joseph Bucci says the Bensalem man was prepared to repay $10,000 of the missing money and would repay the rest of the money.
Bucci waived a preliminary hearing Thursday in Bucks County court. Attorney Michael Parlow says Bucci has sold many of the items he bought with the money, including a car.

Parlow tells the Bucks County Courier Times he’ll seek admission for Bucci into a diversionary program that would allow him to have his record expunged.

Police say Bucci used the misbegotten money for airline tickets, a dog and other expenses besides the car.
