Late-night politics

We’ve been waiting for a straight answer on this for awhile now.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie doesn’t need to run for president – according to him, that job doesn’t have as much power as the one he has now.

That’s what he said when he made his debut on NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” last night.

Why was he there, you ask? A Twitter spat between the host and the politician led to the invitation. Fallon repeated his previous Twitter joke last night that people only get to the Garden State “by accident.”

Christie responded with a joke of his own: “You know what we do to people like that in New Jersey, Jimmy?”
