Last day for Camden’s main public library

Today is the last day of operations for Camden’s main public library. Budget cutbacks are forcing the branch to close.

With one branch already closed and another being taken over by the Camden County library system, the main branch was the last remaining city resource, the Associated Press and NJ.com report.

Rutgers University has already announced plans to open some of its space to the public, but it’s unclear when that will begin.
