Kensington dreamhouse

Kensington, North Philly . . . call it what you want, but a loft on the 1600-block of N. Howard Street has caught the attention of the New York Times.

The paper profiled three properities across the country for sale for $600,000, and among them is a converted firehouse at 1625 N. Howard St. The loft’s 4,000 square feet, art studio and roof garden are on the market for the same price as a three-bedroom home in Montana and a two-bedroom apartment in California.
