Much was made of Northwest Philadelphia’s impact on Jim Kenney’s successful mayoral-primary campaign in May.
Well, many of those elected officials who backed Kenney in the primary joined him at Awbury Recreation Center (located where East Germantown meets West Oak Lane near Martin Luther King High School) for a Labor Day event. (Also in attendance: one-time mayoral foe Doug Oliver.)
