Keith Urban, Train highlight Delaware State Fair concerts

From Firefly to the Delaware State Fair, music fans in the First State will have plenty of entertainment to choose from this summer.

The Delaware State Fair unveiled its music lineup Wednesday morning, and like previous years, the roster includes lots of country music.

Current American Idol judge Keith Urban will perform, as will Lady Antebellum and Brantley Gilbert. Lady A has experienced plenty of crossover success on the pop charts, with hits like “Need You Now.” Gilbert is an upcoming singer-songwriter whose best known song, “Dirt Road Anthem,” was recorded by country superstar Jason Aldean.

On the pop music side, Train will sing their hits on Sunday, July 20, which include “Drops of Jupiter” and “Hey, Soul Sister.” Christian music fans can see Jeremy Camp with Britt Nicole on Friday, July 25.

For non-music related entertainment, the fair will also feature the traditional demolition derby. The fair runs from July 17-26 in Harrington.
