Judge denies Gosnell’s preliminary hearing request
The Common Pleas Court today denied Kermit Gosnell’s request for a preliminary hearing. The West Philadelphia doctor appeared in court today, as he faces eight counts of murder.
The Daily News reports Gosnell requested and was denied a preliminary hearing, and his case will proceed directly to the discovery phase.
Despite claims of being too financially distressed and in need of a public defender, Gosnell is now represented by a private attorney
