It’s electric

Philadelphia officials have announced they’ll install 20 electric vehicle chargers throughout the city.  The money comes from the state Department of Environmental Protection.

The bad news for electric car owners, according to city sustainability office officials, is that only two spaces will be for general use (and you’ll have to reserve them on a website).  The rest are set aside for PhillyCarShare cars and Zipcars.
