Comcast offline

    Chances are, if you’re reading this, your Internet works.

    But that wasn’t the case for many last night: according to the Inquirer, Comcast’s online services went offline for several hours yesterday evening.

     

    “Users from Baltimore to Boston started failing to get on the Internet about 8 p.m., and the system wasn’t back up and running till about 11 p.m., corporate spokesman Bob Grove told the Baltimore Sun.

    The cause was being investigated, Grove said, but apparently the trouble had to do with domain name servers, according to the Washington Post.”
