Huge fire truck show coming to South Jersey

The Glasstown Antique Fire Brigade and WheatonArts are teaming up again to hostthe 37th annual Fire Apparatus Show and Muster Sunday, Aug 20, in Millville, N.J.

There’s something for everyone, whether a fire engine enthusiast, vintage auto buffor art lover.

More than 80 antique fire trucks and emergency apparatus will be on display on theart center’s grounds. The impressive show of gleaming red, brass and chrome beautieswill include hand pumpers, horse drawn apparatus, plus engines from historic manufacturerslike Ward LaFrance, Maxim, International Hahn, Ford (Model T), Mack and International Oren.

Other scheduled highlights of the event are fire fighting demonstrations, firefighter skillscompetitions, water barrel fights and the Firematic flea market.

The show is part of the “Wheaton Wide Open Weekend”, with free admission to WheatonArtsoffered to all visitors. Be sure to get in on the family art workshop and create a paper bag star.
