How to get past voter apathy in Philadelphia

    Donna Reed Miller has represented Philadelphia’s Eighth Council District for the last two-and-a-half decades. Is it because of voter apathy? Or is there voter apathy because the same person has been in the same district for the last 16 years?

    Probably a little of both. Philadelphia, we need to step it up.

    Where was everyone else? Too downtrodden to have faith in a political forum and the inevitable election. But there are a lot of long-time council members stepping down this year, so let’s take a cue from them to do something out of character: vote.
