Hotline helps seniors with free advice

Delaware seniors have a new source of free legal advice.
The Delaware Senior Legal Hotline offers advice from either a Delaware Volunteer Legal Services staff attorney or volunteer attorneys.  For questions that require more than just advice, callers will be screened for their eligibility for free legal services.  If eligible, they’ll be referred to the Community Legal Aid Society, Delaware Volunteer Legal Services, or the Legal Services Corporation of Delaware.  The hotline can be reached at 302-478-8850 in New Castle County, and at 800-773-0606 in Kent and Sussex.  The phones will be answered Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
