‘Home Tweet Home’ exhibit at Morris Arboretum celebrates feathered friends
Currently on display throughout the 92-acre garden of Morris Arboretum are beautiful and elaborate designer birdhouses. The exhibit includes 29 birdhouses crafted by talented artists and bird lovers, most of them living around Philadelphia.
The display is part of a three-season exhibit celebrating “Our Feathered Friends.”
“The whole objective is to really see nature and learn about new things in fun ways,” said Susan J. Crane, director of marketing at Morris Arboretum.
Many birds make their home at the garden or pass through in their travels, according to Crane. “Visitors can view many different species as they stroll the garden,” she added.
