A missing Collegeville woman returned home yesterday after her parents found her in Philadelphia. Lauren Elizabeth Rennard was last seen Dec. 30, and state police treated her disappearance as a missing person’s case, not an abduction.
Police tracked Rennard’s cell phone and Facebook account, where on Monday she posted a status that said she was in North Philadelphia.
The Mercury reports Rennard’s family will not comment on why their daughter was in Philadelphia or why she went missing. Police have theories on the case, which relate to Rennard’s brief criminal history.
