Holiday jeers

As a followup to yesterday’s Feed post about Chester County’s proposal to discontinue private holiday displays on county property, the West Chester Daily Local got its hands on an email urging county commissioners not to pass Resolution 58-10.

The email argues for citizens and organizations to reserve the right to host holiday displays at the historic courthouse. Resolution 58-10, proposed by Republican Commissioner Terence Farrell, would put the holiday displays in the hands of the county and would require that the dominant theme be commericlal and nondenominational. With a touch of military support, naturally.

The Resolution faces a vote today.
