Historical Society’s Baseball Scavenger Hunt takes place Thursday

    In love with baseball? Well, you might just enjoy a baseball scavenger hunt this Thursday at 6 p.m., presented by the Young Friends of Historical Society of Philadelphia.

    Some of the Young Friends of HSP’s finest baseball collections will be brought out, including old photos from Shibe Park, turn-of-the century baseball cards, and other historic items.There will be a reception that will show the film “Baseball: The Philadelphia Game.” While enjoying the film, wine, cheese, beer, and snacks will be provided.A raffle will take place with a grand prize of two tickets to the September 17 Phillies game in the Mayor’s box.Admission and raffle tickets can be purchased online. You can find the scavenger hunt at the Historical Society of Philadelphia’s building on 13th and Locust streets in Philadelphia.
