High school principal spends the day in a tree for fundraiser
Considering the alternative is a high school full of students antsy to leave for the winter break, Tom Mulvey’s day in a tree was probably a nice change of pace.
The Downingtown High School West principal found himself between branches Wednesday after “winning” the school’s fundraising contest. Students dropped more money in his donation bucket than the other three staffers’, sending Mulvey up a tree and $1,300 to a family in need.
Probably a better money-maker than selling wrapping paper door-to-door.
