Looking for some Halloween Fun this October in Historic Germantown? Here are a few ideas:

Ghosts of the Great Road

Saturday: 3 p.m. The Market Square tour, meets at 5501 Germantown Ave.; 6 p.m. The Colonial Compound tour, meets at 6430 Germantown Ave.

Hear the haunted tales of Germantown on the Ghosts of the Great Road tour. Visitors can choose from the Market Square tour or the Colonial Compound tour. Each 90 minute tour takes you to sites along Germantown Avenue and ends with an investigation inside a real haunted house! Tickets are $10 and must be purchased in advance. Murder Mystery

Saturday (6 p.m.) and Sunday (2:30 p.m.)

Join the Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion, located at 200 West Tulpehocken Street, for their fifth annual Murder Mystery entitled ‘A House Divided.’ This event, which borrows from the game of Clue, will focus on the Civil War in Germantown. Tours of the Haunted Mansion

Saturday from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Take a spooky tour of James Logan’s Stenton, then enjoy pumpkin painting, apple cider, and spice cookies. This event is free, open to all ages and costumes are encouraged! Hallelujah Night
