Helmet cam captures Winnie’s ride in the Bicycling Magazine Open

Watch as Winnie Clowry tackles the Manayunk Wall and the rest of the Philly bike race circuit before the pros on Sunday.

Winnie Clowry of Manayunk’s Winnie’s LeBus was all smiles along the race route for Philadelphia’s first Bicycling Magazine Open on Sunday.

Before the 28th Annual TD Bank Philadelphia International Cycling Championship, Clowry and other recreational cyclists got their chance to tackle the Manayunk Wall and the rest of the iconic 14.7-mile course for up to three laps before the professionals began their race. Clowry had her fill after one lap.

She used her ride as a fundraiser for North Light Community Center in Manayunk. By early afternoon on Sunday, Karen Smith of North Light said donations to Clowry’s race helped to raise more than $1,500 for the center.
