Heightened security at School District as police search for bomb threat suspect

It could be hard to track down the person who threatened a bomb would go off inside School District of Philadelphia headquarters yesterday. But police are looking.

The emailed threat came in Saturday night, and though Sunday and Monday searches of the building and surrounding area turned up nothing, district employees are still on edge.

A report from the Daily News says police are hoping to have more information about the suspect in the next couple days. Meanwhile, Superintendent Arlene Ackerman continues to travel with security personnel, and people entering district headquarters can expect bag checks.
