Temps drop to 80s for first time in a week

    Monday marks the first day temperatures have dropped to the 80s in more than a week.

    According to NBC10, temperatures were expected to reach a high of 87 Monday. Through the week, NBC10 expects tempeatures will remain in the 80s, with possible showers as early as Tuesday.

    The hot temperatures, which hit triple digits, have been blamed for taking the lives of four people.

    The Associated Press reports an 86-year-old Lehigh County man died Saturday in his home, where inside the temperature was as high as 90 degrees.

    The Associated Press says three Philadelphia man also died as a result of last week’s heat wave.
