Hail pelts parts of Pa.

Hail has hammered portions of eastern and central Pennsylvania, breaking windows and shattering car windshields.

The National Weather Service says it has received reports of hail as big as a tennis ball in Danville. Hail bigger than a quarter also pelted Reading.

    The storm hit mid-afternoon Thursday.

The Berks County emergency management center says it received a flood of calls but has no reports of any serious injuries.
