Haddonfield school hopes cafeteria experiment deters bullying

Would kids be less inclined to bully each other if they knew their peers better?

That’s the hypothesis behind Haddonfield Middle School’s cafeteria expansion. CBS3 was there as school officials assigned seats at lunch time so the students sat with classmates they don’t know.
It was a one-day trial to break the ice, maybe convince a couple kids their peers don’t all have cooties, and make them aware they can’t always pick their seating partners.
