Habitat for Humanity will open ReStore in former New Garden Acme

    Giant Food Stores has found a tenant for part of New Garden Shopping Center formerly occupied by Acme.

    A Habitat for Humanity ReStore will open by the end of April, the West Chester Daily Local reports, taking up one-third of the property’s retail space.
    The store will sell furniture, tools, fixtures, appliances bedding and curtains. As part of the Habitat for Humanity mission, those who apply for a home must either volunteer to help build it or do other work the support the organization.

    Gently used items can be donated starting in late March.
