Greene Street Artists’ Cooperative opens its studios for Earth Day Celebration [gallery]
Greene Street Artists’ Cooperative, a “multicultural community of artists who share a building that houses 17 living and studio units” in Germantown opened its doors to the public on Sunday for its fourth annual Earth Day Celebration.
The open-studio event, in a building that once housed an Urban Outfitters warehouse, showcased works being created by GSAC artists at the cooperative’s home since 1992 on Greene Street near West Queen Lane in Germantown.
NewsWorks attended in order to share a photo gallery about the event; Germantown resident Crystal Spraggins’ blogpost has more information about the Sunday gathering.
