Grand Theater gets Delaware Community Foundation grant
The Grand’s “Imagine Your Grand Tomorrow” campaign will receive $25,000 from the DCF.
The money will be used to rebuild the Grand’s main stage elevator to meet safety and ADA compliance standards. Officials at the theater say the elevator is essential to making the facility accessible to the public.
Over the past three years, the Grand Opera House has been working to diversify its programs, reduce costs, and build relationships with others in the arts community. It has also launched a capital campaign to raise $10 million.
