Goose found injured in Manayunk returns to the wild

A Canada goose found last week with a blow dart in its neck was returned to the wild yesterday thanks to a little TLC from the Schuylkill Center’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic.

It took three days for rescuers to gain the goose’s trust to help nurse her back to help, the Associated Press reports, after she was found on the Manayunk Canal. A vet removed the dart and gave the goose some antibiotics and fluids before she was released yesterday.
