Girl with pink hair allowed back in Delaware middle school

Shue-Medill Middle School in Delaware has welcomed back a sixth-grader who was suspended last week for showing up with pink hair.

Unlike other schools in the Christina School District, Shue-Medill prohibits unnatural and excessive hair colors. The News Journal reports the district has since overruled that school policy, allowing the student to return, pink hair and all.

Brianna Moore’s parents helped dye her hair pink as a reward for making the honor roll.
