A 19-year-old man remained at Albert Einstein Medical Center hours after being shot when two unknown gunmen opened fire on the 200 block of W. Zeralda St. in the city’s Germantown section.
Officer Tanya Little, a department spokeswoman, said two men wearing scarves over their faces fired multiple shots on the block at 2:41 a.m. Wednesday.
The victim, who was the only person shot, was struck in the left leg. He managed to get inside a residence there and call police.
The gunmen, about whom no further description was available, ran off. The victim was taken to AEMC, where he was listed in stable condition at 10 a.m., police said.
