Gerlach, Meehan in Media to promote conservation tax incentives

There’s plenty to eat at Hildacy Farm Preserve in Media.

U.S. Rep.s Jim Gerlach and Pat Meehan will find that out this afternoon as they take a tour of the preserve’s edible plants. They’ll be there to promote tax incentives for property owners who donate their land to conservation.

The Congressmen are then expected to participate in a panel discussion about bipartisan legislation that would permanently extend the federal tax incentives for such land use. Without legislation, those incentives will expire later this year.
