The full draft of the Central Delaware Waterfront Master Plan

The full draft of the Central Delaware Waterfront Master Plan has been released.

It has been posted on the website of the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation – the quasi-city agency that manages both the city’s property along the river and the long-term planning for the entire Central Delaware, from Oregon to Allegheny avenues.

The DRWC released an executive summary draft at a well-attended public event last month. Now that the full plan is public, DRWC will spend the next month receiving public comment about it – comments can be made via the website.

From the end of the comment period until sometime in September, comments from the public and DRWC board members and staff

will be analyzed and incorporated into the report.

In September or early October, the final document will be released, and it will be presented to the Philadelphia City Planning Commission, likely at its October meeting.
