Friday is National Bike to Work Day

As part of May’s National Bike Month celebrations, people across the country and around the city will be nixing four wheels for two this Friday, May 18, for National Bike to Work Day.

Mayor Michael Nutter will also be getting in on the action when he joins the Bicycle Coalition in a ceremonious, police escorted bicycle ride to work that will end at Love Park.

In other news, it will finally be official that a police escort is the only safe way to ride a bike in Philadelphia.
