Here’s some weekend brain candy that isn’t really new, but I’m guessing a lot of Newsworks readers haven’t come across it yet.
The video above is Friday, the utterly inane teen anthem by 15-year old Rebecca Black, which her mom paid the ARK Music Factory $2,000 to write and produce. It’s been dubbed the worst song ever by some, but the You Tube video stands at 113 million hits and counting (at least four of them mine).
It’s worth watching only so you can see the wonderful send up below by Stephen Colbert and friends, performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to pay off a bet involving charity fundraising.
