Free jazz concert at South Philadelphia garden

Looking to wind down your Saturday with a little music?

You could always venture to 21st and Ellsworth in South Philly, where the Concer Garden is hosting another free Summer Jazz Series event.

From 4 to 9 p.m., local bands Opus Soul, Ben Briton Unconventional, Mojoceratops and the Big Unkle will play while you gorge on foods of the local and national bran varieties.

Proceeds will go toward upkeep of the garden and its programs, so get your raffle money ready if you want to show support. Last year’s series raised $1,000.
