Frankford shooting leaves 1 dead, 2 injured

By Shannon McDonald

A triple shooting at a Pratt Street bar had officers rushing to the scene around 1:15 this morning.

Dallas Custalow, 25, was shot in the stomach at the Irish Kitchen at Pratt and Oakland streets after two men began shooting at each other across the bar. One of the shooters suffered a gunshot wound to the head and remains in critical condition. The other was hit in the thigh.

Authorities and witnesses say Custalow was an innocent bystander. His family was called to the scene shortly after the shooting to identify his body. Family members said he stopped at the bar after going to the movies. Custalow is also the son of the 71-year-old man who died after being beaten with a trash can by his elderly neighbor at Saul and Anchor streets in February.
