Fox suspends Bolaris for Playboy article
Back in the Spring, John Bolaris broke the story that he’d been scammed by two women while vacationing in Miami Beach, ultimately resulting in two guilty pleas in the wire fraud suit he filed.
But the same story that circulated in the Daily News has put him in hot water now that he’s telling it to Playboy. Dan Gross reports the Fox29 meteorologist has been indefinitely suspended from his weather gig because management isn’t happy with how Bolaris looks in the story.
The station confirmed the suspension but not the reason for it.
