The former head of the Philadelphia Parking Authority is getting a big payout after resigning under fire.
Vince Fenerty quit as head of the parking authority in September following two allegations of sexual harassment by female employees. He sought payment for unused vacation, administrative leave, comp time, and a percentage of his sick leave and will receive just over $227,000.
As an employee with more than 30 years of service, Fenerty earned leave at the maximum rate, according to authority spokesman Marty O’Rourke. Comp time was earned consistent with policies in the PPA employee manual.
Fenerty is also collecting a pension of $158,628 a year.
O’Rourke said Friday he did not have a breakdown of the $227,000 payment.
